Using a custom domain name

You can use your own domain name with your Mux by pointing a CNAME at your Muxster subdomain.
  1. Log in to your Muxster account and select the 'Customise' drop down menu.
  2. In the first tab - 'Your Band' - you'll see an entry for 'Your Muxster Address'.  By default it'll be set to your Muxster subdomain (write this down - you'll need it later!)
  3. Enter the address you want to use for Muxster (without the http:// part) and click the 'Save Changes' button.
All being well (you'll see a wee message informing you that it's been saved successfully!) your new custom address will be set up.

Next you'll need to log into your DNS provider and set up a CNAME for the domain you want to point at your Mux.  Set it up to point at the muxster subdomain that you wrote down earlier!

To-do: Add instructions for main DNS providers / domain registants.
